Here are 3 seasonings you need to be using now:

 

1. Tumeric

  • Has powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant capabilities

  • Beans (black beans, chickpeas, etc.)

  • Pasta sauces (vegetable based sauces)

  • Lean ground beef or turkey

2. Cumin

This seasoning is found in curry!

  • Great source of iron

  • Improves digestion

  • Stops Anemia from occurring

  • Contains vitamins A, C, E & B6, thiamine, riboflavin, niacin

  • Useful for weight loss, diabetes, and blood cholesterol

  • Has minerals like manganese, copper, calcium, magnesium, phosphorous, and potassium

3. Garlic Powder (NOT garlic salt!!!)

 

Garlic makes everything taste better, but be careful that you're using garlic powder and not garlic salt. Fresh garlic cloves are also great to use! Garlic powder is just the more affordable and convenient option.

  • Contains Manganese, Vitamin B6, Vitamin C, Selenium, and Fiber

  • Fights common colds and other illnesses

  • Able to reduce blood pressure
