Almond Butter

Eat with fruit, as an oatmeal topping, or alone! Peanut butter is not bad for you, but Almond Butter is better. Ideas:

  • cinnamon

  • waffles

  • other fruit

Apples

Apples taste delicious with Almond Butter or Peanut Butter, but there are also many other options. Ideas: 

  • oatmeal

  • salads

  • apple pie

  • almond butter

  • Cinnamon

  • Applesauce

  • Honey roasted apples

  • Apple chips

  • Eat apples raw or enjoy them cooked!

Spinach

Spinach can be added to almost anything. Ideas:

  • It's a great base for a salad

  • Omelets

  • Wraps

  • Pizzas

  • Bowls

  • Smoothies

Oranges

Oranges are refreshing and great for your body. Ideas:

I rarely find canned vegetables that are packed with nutrients, but they do exist. Check your food labels if you'd like to purchase canned vegetables. Try to select low sodium or no salt added cans. Ideas:

  • Add to beans

  • Roast in oven (so easy, yet so delicious)

  • Eat raw (if fresh and not frozen/canned)

Oats

Oats are quick, easy and delicious. Use a variety of toppings to create new and exciting versions of oatmeal. Oats can also be used to make fun snacks. Ideas:

  • Make an apple crumble

  • Oatmeal

  • Make snack bars

  • Create granola

  • Trail Mix with nuts and fruit
