Mexico was SO amazing! I’m obsessed with the 5 star all-inclusive resort in Mexico that we stayed at.
Hii Friends! I took a trip to Mexico for a destination wedding.
If you’ve seen my other travel vlogs on YouTube or read previous travel blog posts, then you know that during trips I typically explore the area a lot. This means driving around to new destinations and experiencing offsite excursions like jet skiing, parasailing, and other activities.
This trip was unique because we spent almost all of our time on the all inclusive resort and it was AMAZING. I could literally stay there for over a week and still have so much to do and explore. Keep reading to learn more about the resort and highlights from this vacation to Mexico.

My Vacation in Mexico
Traveling to Mexico
This has been one of our best flight experiences this year! We flew into Cancun, Mexico and it was a direct flight which was perfect. Also, what made this flight unique was that we took it in the middle of the day. Typically, we fly early in the morning or late at night. We arrived to Mexico before it was dark that night and had time to enjoy the evening.
Prior to leaving, we expected it to rain all week in Mexico. It definitely rained some, but it wasn’t constantly all day, every day like the forecast showed on my phone.
I purchased this suitcase cover to protect my bag from getting scratched up during transport, but it also makes the suitcase resistant to rain. I’ve used the same cover multiple times, and will probably replace it once a year depending on how many trips I have in a year. I’ve gone on 4-5 trips so far with it.
Destination Wedding in Mexico
The purpose of this trip was to attend a destination wedding in Mexico.
It was a beautiful wedding ceremony filled with so many wonderful experiences like taking a boat to a different island for the reception.
Reception on Isla Mujeres
I was so excited about this!
After the wedding ceremony and cocktail hour, we got ready to take a boat ride to our dinner destination. We all took a bus from the resort to a dock where we boarded a boat. It was fun to listen to music and enjoy the views during the bus ride.
The boat then took us to the Isla de Mujeres.
Once on the island there were many photo opportunities, dinner for us, and a fire show!
Have you been to a destination wedding?
This was my second destination wedding. Both were so beautiful and I think the environment itself is always a MAJOR vibe.

Our Stay in Mexico
We flew into Cancun, Mexico. Our resort was a 5 star all inclusive adults only resort. There’s SO much to cover with this, so definitely keep reading for details about our stay. I’d also recommend checking out this Instagram reel (that went viral :) ) to see the room tour or watch the YouTube video to see the entire trip via the vlog.
The resort is very private which you’ll see in the YouTube vlog, this was important because I wanted to feel as safe as possible during my trip. I definitely felt very safe and everyone on the resort was so nice!
5 Start All Inclusive Resort in Mexico (What to do & Resort Details)
The entire resort is gorgeous. We were driven onto the resort and once we arrived to the beautiful lobby, we were then driven on golf carts to our room. The golf cart was a wonderful way to get a mini-tour of the resort, especially for our first few hours there.
Here are some features of our resort room in Mexico:
Overall
Private Furnished Balcony or Terrace
24 Hour Room Service
Spa Services
Mini Bar Stocked Daily (juices, alcohol, sodas, water, sparkling water, etc.)
My All Inclusive Resort Room in Mexico
The room was pretty spacious and I’ve decided to break it up into the sections of the room because literally all of it was nice and noteworthy. Let’s start with the bathroom!
The Bathroom
Inside the bathroom is a large bathtub with jets. I love the bath! The bath fits more than one person and connects to both the bathroom and the bedroom. I did visit other rooms and this is a unique feature depending on your room. In the YouTube vlog, you’ll notice the wooden doors that can slide open or closed depending on if you want to see or access the bath from the bedroom.
The bathroom also had very wide his and her sinks, a private stand-up shower with two shower heads, and a private toilet. I’m calling these sections ‘private’ because they each had their own glass door which was perfect if my boyfriend and I both needed to use the bathroom.
The Bedroom
The room was very spacious. One of my favorite features was the tablet/ipad in the room that showed you the activities for the day/night, as well as, connected you with room service or other requests.
The Balcony/Patio
Back to the room! There’s a lot of space between the workstation and the living room area. The final portion of the room is the gorgeous balcony, yall know I love a good view! Watch the YouTube vlog or the Instagram reel I created @WellwithBrielle to see what I mean.
I had such a great view of not just the pools, but also I could literally view the entire resort. You could also stay on the first floor and have a swim up pool instead. There were so many wonderful activities and features included with this resort!
What to Eat at the Resort
I loved ordering room service, as well as enjoying the restaurants on the resort. The room service menu options didn’t change much during my stay and was different than the dine-in restaurants, so it was nice to find my favorite menu items. One item I really enjoyed getting each day was the Crema de Dia. Basically, it was a cream-based soup and the vegetable in it would change each day. My favorite ones were the corn cream and tomato cream, but really just about all of them were DELICIOUS.
As mentioned before, this resort had 6 dine-in restaurants, as well as, 6 bars or other stations that also served food/drinks. Some of the dine-in restaurants include:
Italian
Mexican
Hibachi
Japanese
French
And more!
Resort Activities
There were so many things to do on the resort which is one of the many reasons why I could easily stay here for a week or more and have the best time.
Here are some of the activities that I noticed during my stay:
Archery
Fitness Activities (like Yoga, Stretching, HIIT, etc.)
Recreational Activities (These were always set up like mini-golf, life-size chess in the water, ping pong, etc.)
Parasailing
Pool Bingo
Baseball
Tennis
5+ Bars & Lounges
Motorized and Non-Motorized Water Sports like Jet Skiing
Beach & Pool Side Waiter Service
Day & Night Entertainment (Mexican Fiestas, Magic Shows, Flea Market, etc.)
& much more!
This resort was AMAZING! Side Note: For years, I keep having a reoccurring dream that I’m on an all inclusive vacation and never want to leave. After experiencing this all inclusive adults only resort in Mexico, I’m convinced that this is my dream. Literally had it again this morning :) Anyways, this trip was epic. I’d love to check out the other locations that this resort has, including Jamaica.
I would definitely recommend this resort and would love to go back!
