Winter Solstice Self Care Bath

This weekend I celebrated the Winter Solstice. And no, it’s nothing woo woo, Babes! Don’t worry because I will explain.

Your environment has one of the greatest influences over your ability to live a healthy lifestyle. Here’s an example: Having a workspace that includes a gym or water fountain nearby would enhance your lifestyle by providing you immediate sources of exercise and water. Without those built in environmental resources you would have to rely on bringing a water bottle and finding drinking water to refill it with.

So if we can enhance our environment to support a healthy lifestyle then it’s important to understand how different settings may impact our wellness.

Tapping into nature is a scientifically proven way to naturally boost your health and wellness.

Have you heard of ‘green exercise’? It’s what scientists are calling activities done while amongst nature because nature has found to benefit you physically, as well as, psychologically. Isn’t that beautiful and SO amazing, babes?!

Have you heard of the Summer Solstice or Winter Solstice?

December 22nd is when the Winter Solstice occurs in the northern hemisphere and in the southern hemisphere it occurs June 21st.

So basically, the Winter Solstice only occurs once a year. It’s the longest night of darkness and marks midwinter. The following night after is always the last full moon of the year and the brightest night!

If you've seen my IG story, then you know the WINTER SOLSTICE is the time to reflect and let go of the past. Cut the light/energy off on dark or unfavorable memories/patterns so you can move forward.

To celebrate nature and the Winter Solstice I decided to set up a beautiful and super relaxing self care bath. This much needed self care is just in time for the holidays. Could you also use some self care right now?

INDULGE, BABES!

Here are the details on what I included in my WINTER SOLSTICE self care bath:

  • All natural candles (one of my client’s products! They are SO amazing!!)

    • Stop breathing in harmful chemicals, babes! Enjoy all natural, healthy scents.

  • Organic bath salt with essential oils like lavender

    • Wow! What a difference using an all natural product makes! I could literally feel my body relaxing as I got into the hot bath. I’ve used more commonly known bath salt products in the past and it was nothing like this.

  • Homemade Ginger Tea (Want the recipe?)

    • It felt so good to sip my tea. I actually had a cold glass of ginger tea followed by a warm glass later once the bath had cooled down a bit. Do you know all the health benefits of ginger?

  • My bullet journal (BuJo)

    • I love to use my bullet journal for planning and recording. Specifically, tonight I worked on goals. I spent time manifesting and truly visualizing what accomplishing them would be like. When is the last time you reviewed your goals?

  • All Natural Bath Gel

    • Definitely have to do an ENTIRE post on this new bath gel, babes! It’s cruelty free, vegan, all natural and works wonders on my entire body.
