Palmini Hearts of Palm Pasta: Review and Plant Based Recipe Inspo
Ready for some plant based recipe inspo?
Babes, I’ve tried different low carb pasta substitutes that are plant based like chickpea pasta or black bean pasta, but this is the first time I’ve had hearts of palm pasta. It’s such a GREAT, healthy and easy plant based pasta option.
Here’s My Review of Palmini Hearts of Palm Pasta:
I tried Palmini linguine which is a plant based pasta made of hearts of palm! It’s not combined with flour and only has 4G of carbs.
The noodles come in a can and are sturdy. If you want softer noodles then you can boil them in water, but I enjoyed mine the way they were. You heat them up with your pasta sauce or separately (like I did).
Definitely looking forward to making more recipes with these plant based noodles!
Babes, keep reading for the benefits of hearts of palm AND details on what I used to make the pasta sauce from scratch.

Here’s what I included in the pasta sauce:
Organic strained tomatoes by Bionature.
I love this brand because there are no ingredients added unnecessarily like salt or sugar. I buy it often and use it as a healthy base for many recipes.
Hearts of palm pasta by Palmini.
I used the linguine pasta but cannot wait to try the lasagna too.
Delicious seasonings for the meat (yes, I used real meat! organic grass-fed beef to be exact) include
fennel (I like it both whole or grounded)
Fresh sweet peppers or bell peppers
Fresh purple onions
Here’s what I did with the ingredients:
First season the beef to taste.
Then sautee the peppers and onions in some extra virgin olive oil before adding the well-seasoned beef.
Next once the beef is fully cooked pour in the Organic strained tomatoes or pasta sauce of choice. Again, I love this option because I get to make my sauce from scratch.
Lastly heat up your Palmini pasta or add it to the sauce.
Serve and enjoy, babes!
